Al costado derecho se distinguen el Castillo Ross (actual Club Unión Árabe) edificado en 1912, y en la cima del Cerro Castillo, el desaparecido Castillo San Jorge. En la punta del mismo cerro que avanza hacia el mar se encuentra el antiguo Fuerte Callao, ya en desuso, en cuyos terrenos se edificaría el Palacio Presidencial, en 1930. Al fondo, antes de la curva de Avenida Marina, se divisa el Castillo Wulff, residencia que debe su nombre a su primer propietario, el industrial alemán GustavoWulff, quien la hizo construir en 1906, agregándosele un torreón y otros detalles a la estructura original en 1920.
