Title A name given to the resource Ceremonia de entrega del estandarte del Regimiento 2° de Línea en Lurín, Perú Description An account of the resource Ceremonia de entrega del estandarte del Regimiento 2° de Línea, Lurín, 10 de enero de 1881. Dicha enseña había sido perdida por esta unidad, tras una denodada defensa, en la batalla de Tarapacá del 27 de noviembre de 1879. Tras la ocupación chilena de Tacna, en mayo de 1880, el estandarte fue descubierto por el capellán del Ejército chileno, Ruperto Marchant Pereira. La ocasión elegida para la devolución oficial del estandarte a su regimiento fue en vísperas del ataque a las líneas de defensa de Chorrillos, el 13 de enero de 1881.
