Title A name given to the resource Transporte Micalvi (2°) Description An account of the resource Transporte Micalvi (2°) hacia 1930. Ex Bragui, ex Boston Lines, había sido construido en Stettin, Alemania, en 1925, y fue adquirido en 1928 con el sólo propósito de transportar la nueva munición para el acorazado Almirante Latorre, próximo a ser sometido a una modernización. Desplazaba 850 toneladas y daba 9,5 nudos de andar. La idea original era desguazar o vender al Micalvi sin embargo, se decidió refaccionarlo y destinarlo a la zona de Magallanes, en especial al transporte y comunicaciones con zonas aisladas. Fue dado de baja, convertido en pontón y estacionado en Puerto Williams, en 1961. Ese mismo año fue declarado buque histórico por la Comisión Internacional de Buques Históricos, y en la actualidad sirve de sede al Club de Yates local, constituyendo una de las atracciones de dicho puerto.
