La Sala Acorazado Almirante Latorre se realizó para recordar al buque de guerra más poderoso que tuvo la Armada de Chile en su historia, que fue a su vez el acorazado más poderoso de Latinoamérica. También es un reconocimiento a las dotaciones de Oficiales y Gente de Mar que sirvieron a bordo entre 1920 y 1958. Además de este modelo, se instalaron fotografías y objetos relacionados con esta unidad de guerra. La realización de este proyecto fue posible gracias a donantes privados y fue administrado por la Fundación Mar de Chile. Esta sala fue inaugurada en diciembre de 2015.
