Ex Sosua, fue construido en Noruega en 1912, desplazaba 691 toneladas y daba 10 nudos de andar. Era un vapor mercante peruano, que en 1937 varó en Lebu y fue rescatado por la Armada de Chile, pasando luego a su servicio, sirviendo como carbonero de los buques de la Escuadra y escampavías apostados en la zona Sur durante los años de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Fue declarado pontón en 1950 y estacionado en Puerto Montt. Fue dado de baja en 1954 y enajenado en 1961.
