El 12 de noviembre de 1963 se puso la quilla a la Guacolda y Fresia. Lanzada al agua el 25 de agosto de 1964 se entrega a Chile el 30 de julio de 1965 en España. Salió de Cádiz a bordo del mercante alemán "Stuttgart" el 25 de agosto de 1964, recalando a Chile el 21 de septiembre. Durante su vida como torpedera fue destinada al Distrito Naval Beagle. Su primer comandante fue el Tte.1º Jorge Martínez Busch. A contar el 26 de diciembre de 1997 pasa a desempeñarserse como Lancha de Servicio General sirviendo en la zona norte del país. Desplazaba 134 toneladas y su armamento original consistía en 4 tubos lanza torpedos de 21”, dos ametralladoras simples Bofors de 40mm y dos ametralladoras de .50”.
